Sand King is one of my favorite spots on Lake Powell! Situated close to both the Wahweap and State Line boat ramps, reaching it by boat or kayak is easy, making it an ideal destination for a day of adventure. The highlight of this spot is its namesake: a towering sand hill that dominates the canyon. The hike to the summit can be challenging, but the descent is worth it.
